Greasemonkey 0.9.22 Release

The entire list of bugs handled in this release is also available via the 0.9.21 milestone on GitHub. Note that as always it takes some time for Mozilla to review the new version, but it's available on the all versions page immediately.

If you are using it and notice problems, it's best to log an issue or let us know at greasemonkey-dev (and be clear that it's with this version).

This release contains just one important fix:

Bug fixes:
  • Fix memory leak related to GM_registerMenuCommander. (#1578)
Update:
I bungled a bit of the release, as early commenters below note.  I also hit a bug in the Mozilla Add-ons site in the process, so this release is now called 0.9.22, and officially there is no version 0.9.21.  Sorry!

Initially refused to install (Firefox said it wouldn't install it because it wasn't the extension it expected... whatever that means) until I tried "open in new tab".

When I got it installed, it blanked out all the lists in my Addons tab, so I had to downgrade back to 0.9.20.

Shame too. My one complaint about Firefox in recent years has been that, even if Aurora's incremental GC does keep performance good when it leaks its way up to 4GiB resident, that doesn't mean I should need a brand new PC with 16GiB of RAM when everything else on my system runs fine on the old 2Ghz Celeron with 1GiB of RAM that I try to use as my target for designing desktop load-outs.

Indeed, the copy hosted at Mozilla is broken; I made a mistake, deleted and replaced it. But the old broken file is still being hosted. Please don't install this until it's approved.

9.0.21 Breaks Add-on. As in if you click on it nothing shows for extensions etc. Had to downgrade but 9.0.22 is fixed version. Hopefully on firefox addon site they update to the newer version.
