The entire list of bugs handled in this release is also available via the 1.7 milestone on GitHub. Note that as always it takes some time for Mozilla to review the new version, but it's available on the all versions page immediately.
If you are using it and notice problems, it's best to log an issue or let us know at greasemonkey-dev (and be clear that it's with this version).

why greasemonkey script that is activated only checked it?
for scripts that are not activated, past the check update greasemonkey ..
Greasmonkey 1.6 weren't working since today (17/01), so I tried installing this new version 1.7, but it still doesn't work for me, none of the scripts that were working normally before today are working right now, I didn't install anything new in my FireFox nor in my PC, so what is happening?
"Not working" is never enough information. If it was not working enough for me to notice, I'd fix it. You need to give me enough information to know _what_ is not working.

Sorry, I feel kinda dumb... Greasemonkey were actually disabled so I checked the icon in the compliments bar and I were able to turn it on again... Thank you for the link since I were able to enable GM again with the information provided there. :)
I still dunno what could have happened, since I didn't turn it off, I didn't even have the compliments bar visible (so I had to press CTRL+Shift to see the monkey icon), but anyway, thanks again! :) GM is now working properly again! :D
I installed Greasemonkey v. 1.7 and am receiving a "no installed scripts run on this page" message on every page. In other words, no installed scripts are being activated. Yes, Greasemonkey is enabled. I'm running Firefox 18.0 in Windows 7 x64. BTW, version 1.6 worked fine for me.
Confirmed. Look for version 1.7 to be pulled, and another really soon.
Sigh. Sorry.
My first test after reading the above comment was flawed. Sat down to fix it and realized my mistake. Version 1.7 is definitely working for me.
@billybliss: Can you please open an issue ( https://github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues/new ) and describe that problem, including links for at least one of the installed scripts that is not running?
I can confirm that with Greasemonkey 1.7 none of my scripts seems to be active anymore! :(

Google Reader ==> http://postimage.org/image/nrvg1831v/
Google Search ==> http://postimage.org/image/sbp53a8z1/
As you can see in the 1st image, there are various scripts for both Google Reader and Google Search. But, as the others images show, the scripts do nothing.
Please comment at https://github.com/greasemonkey/greasemonkey/issues/1692 if you're having trouble getting scripts to run.
